About

From Ethiopian farms to regional markets.

We connect Ethiopian growers with buyers across the Horn of Africa and beyond — and bring in the inputs and vehicles that keep Ethiopian agriculture moving.

01 — Our story

Ethiopia grows more than it can sell at home. We take it to market.

Ethiopia's highlands and valleys produce vegetables, fruit and pulses in quantities local markets can't absorb — while neighbouring countries depend on imported food. Getting fresh produce across a border quickly, with the right papers, is where most of the value is lost.

Angler Trading closes that gap. We buy from Ethiopian growers, grade and pack the produce, prepare export documents and move it overland to buyers in Djibouti, Somalia and Kenya, or by sea to Pakistan. In the other direction we import crop-protection products and commercial trucks for the Ethiopian market.

Mission

To get Ethiopian produce to regional buyers fresh, fairly priced and fully documented — and to supply Ethiopian farms with the inputs and vehicles they need.

Vision

To be the most trusted name in fresh-produce trade between Ethiopia and its neighbours, known for reliability, integrity and fair dealing.

02 — Principles

Six principles we don't trade on.

They shape how we choose suppliers, how we treat clients and how we grow.

  1. 01

    Freshness

Short supply chains from farm to buyer, so produce arrives in saleable condition.

  2. 02

    Integrity

Honest grading, transparent pricing and paperwork done properly.

  3. 03

    Reliability

Recurring shipments on the schedule we agree, season after season.

  4. 04

    Partnership

Long-term relationships with growers, buyers and suppliers across the region.

  5. 05

    Know-how

Practical experience of Ethiopian export rules, border crossings and regional markets.

  6. 06

    Responsibility

Fair dealing with farmers and respect for the communities we source from.
